John Valentine Carruthers (born 1958 in Wortley, Yorkshire) is an English musician, guitarist and composer. He played with Clock DVA in the early 80's and then became the guitarist of Siouxsie and the Banshees in May 1984.
With the Banshees, he recorded The Thorn (EP) (1984), Tinderbox (1986) and Through the Looking Glass (1987) albums. He left the band in January 1987.
